--Richard Dean and Vivian Byrd claim Richard Dean Byrddeveloped pleuralmesothelioma after serving in the United States Navy from 1962 until 1967 and after working as aburner and ship dock worker from 1967 until 1970 and as a painter from 1974 until 1989. TheByrds are represented by Donald M. Flack of the Flack Law Office inWoodRiver and by Waters and Kraus inDallas. Madison County Circuit Court case number: 09-L-0043.
--EdwardDiesko ofMissouri, who worked from 1941 until 1942 as a laborer at Amoco, from 1942 until 1946 as a machinist in the U.S. Coast Guard, from 1946 until 1959 as a pipefitter at Amoco and from 1961 until 1979 as a pipefitter and foreman at General Electrics, claims lung cancer.
